Our Guiding Principles

Our presence, for your safety: Being trauma-informed (and in the case of our Founder, trauma-focused), we are adept at facilitating a safe, private & confidential space for you to share, explore and be curious in your authenticity.

Gentle, Non-Judgmental Guidance & Support: We recognize and adhere to professional standards to support you (wherever you are at in your mental health journey) and to create room and strategies for healthier choices.

Sum of your parts is greater than the whole: We do our best to understand the context and the body in which your mind (and the related emotions) are operating – this allows for us to help you develop an understanding of your self in a holistic & empathetic manner – this is especially helpful if you’re stressed out about being stressed out!

Multiple pathways for Wellness & Recovery: Being trained in different modalities allows for us to incorporate and integrate resources and strategies into a wholly personalized and flexible management plan for each individual who seeks our support.

Continued support and training for our therapists so they support you better: Our therapists who are currently in therapy and under supervision.

Anxiety, Depression, Emotional Dysregulation, Trauma, Overwhelm & Dissociation, Chronic Stress, Pain & other Bodily Symptoms, Overthinking, Indecision & Procrastination, Assertiveness & Boundary-making

Ms. Yukti is a trauma-focussed and integrative Mental Health Professional. Her approach relies frequently on various mind-, body- and nature-based psychotherapeutic modalities like Somatic Experiencing (SE), parts work (IFS based), and adventure/nature-based therapy. She has also previously trained in Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT). Her intention when in practice is to facilitate the resolution of chronic concerns using naturalistic pathways of recovery - that is, to help explore, unburden and facilitate the body's natural capacity to heal that can lead to long-lasting shifts in relevant health outcomes.

She continually engages in supervision and personal therapy work in order to provide a more supportive, authentic and empathetic space to every one of her clients. She also continues to deepen her expertise in training. Presently, for instance, she is enrolled in year 2 of a 3 year Practitioner's Program in Somatic Experiencing by Somatic Experiencing International & The Healing Circle, Bangalore.

Our Story

Initially started as an individual health practitioner’s endeavor to provide inclusive and affordable healthcare over the pandemic (known then as MyInsight Clinic), this practice has now grown to provide a holistic suite of services to cater to various, often inexplicably linked needs of the mind, the body and the ‘bodymind’.

What’s that, you ask?

The ‘bodymind’ refers to the concept that your body and mind essentially behave as one functional unit that interact over many different levels, which can result in a certain quality of life and life experiences, across the different situations one may encounter in one’s lifetime.

Our practice is thus led by our Founder, Ms. Yukti Ballani, who is an Integrative Psychotherapist employing a trauma-focused perspective to facilitate the re-interpretation, resolution and recovery of different mental health concerns experienced in adulthood. With a background in Clinical Psychology, Education and Zoology, she has over time moved towards practicing a ‘distress-over-diagnosis’, eclectic approach that integrates techniques and strategies from various top-down and bottom-up therapeutic modalities, including Somatic Experiencing (SE), Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT), Parts Work (from the Internal Family Systems framework), etc.
